
Kendal entered the real estate field as a licensed BC REALTOR® seven years ago, after completing his masters degree and traveling extensively overseas. Over the years, in additon to helping numerous cleints find their dream homes, he has cultivated special expertise in character and older homes - through renovating his own projects, and consulting with clients on renovation, restoration, updates, and staging.
After thriving for several years as a realtor in the hot Vancouver real estate market, Kendal decided together with hiswife, that it was time to look around for the perfect place to raise their young family. They soon realized they could do no better than the beautiful City of Victoria and are currently thrilled to be living in leafy Oak Bay.

I have an understanding of the industry that comes from many different angles. I have been a realtor in BC since 2004, working with both buyers and sellers. I have renovated many properties, both my own and those of clients. I have been a landlord, and I have been involved in purchasing investment property. I have even purchased property overseas.
A renovating realtor
He has renovated many of his own properties and has acted as a consultant for many of his clients in renovating their properties - both before sale, and after purchase. Some of these were big jobs - taking down walls, gutting houses back to the studs... and some were simply re-tiling bathrooms and freshening paint.
An educated realtor
Kendal possesses four post-secondary degrees in a variety of disciplines. He is a former teacher, university adjunct professor, and bookstore owner. This background gives him an edge - with communication, and in his critical thinking and analytical skills.

As you'll read in my testimonials, my clients are often pleasantly surprised at the amount of time I spend wih them discussing the market and their needs, answering questions and advising. Frankly I'm surprised that clients would expect any less. For me, advising and talking with clients is the heart of the job and one of the most enjoyable parts, at that. I also feel strongly that my work doesn't end once the contracts are signed. My after-purchse service continues... whether it's ensuring you've received every last spare key, or installing a dishwasher (yes, I actually did this for a client), I'm not going to disappear once the deal is done.
